MEET OUR FARM-ILY

HI WE ARE SCOTT AND SHAWNA FOX, BETTER KNOWN AS, "MOM" AND "DAD".

Who are we? We are just two simple people trying to raise good humans and leave the world a better place than how we found it. We are children of God, husband and wife, mom and dad, and we are egg farmers.

We are a family of 6, which means we are outnumbered 2 to 4. Most days you can catch our kids exploring, crafting, playing music, and collecting eggs right alongside of us. We started this farm to sustain our family with good and healthy food. We are pursuing this farm to help bring that same sustainability and health to our community and neighbors.

Hey there! I'm Shawna, aka Mom. Starting Wild Hills Farm has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I knew that I wanted to be a farmer from a young age. My favorite place to be was my grandparents small farm. I loved being out in the country, surrounded by animals, eating homegrown and homemade meals, and enjoying the peace and quiet that comes with simpler living. This is something that I want my own children and grandchildren to experience and hope to impart the art of sustainable farming to them.

Hello there, I'm Scott or better known as, "Daaaaaad!" I always knew I wanted to be a pastor of the word of God, never thought I'd also be a farmer. Shortly after meeting my wife we began the journey to healthy living, which included finding ways to be more sustainable. Over the years I have found I really enjoy raising chickens and more importantly eating fresh eggs! My favorite is a fried egg sandwich.

This is a rare picture of all four of us together on Easter Sunday. When we arn't making them pose for a family photo,  they can be often found crafting, playing music, building, exploring, and farming right alongside of us.Their main job is... to be kids!
